A Northern California nonprofit volunteer organization providing custom, adaptive tricycles to children with disabilities.
NorCal Trykers is a nonprofit organization created for the sole purpose of providing, at no cost, customized therapeutic tricycles to children with disabilities. Our mission is to provide mobility, exercise, confidence and a sense of normalcy to the lives of these children in the greater Sacramento area of Northern California. NorCal Trykers is a chapter of National AMBUCS, Inc. which is located in North Carolina.
The ability to ride a bike is often not a reality for children with physical or developmental challenges. Properly balanced and safely supported, almost any child can ride an Amtryke. They are designed to address the varied needs of any individual with disabilities.
Proven to build motor skills, strength and self esteem.
It is fun to ride and offers the child the chance for age appropriate inclusive play with peers and family.
Hello all you ghosties! It’s time to dust off your skeletons and unpack your costumes for the annual Zombie Bike Parade Festival in Davis on Sunday, Oct. 26. Our intrepid Trykers along with families and friends can join the community festivities, including a parade, games and entertainment.
Making this possible are our festival organizers Davis Odd Fellows and the Bike Campaign-- who, along with many local business and individual sponsors, have raised some $40,000 for NorCal Trykers over the past six years.
Let’s use the power of the pedal and show them our ghoulish appreciation.
Trykers meet at 12:30 p.m. in front of Holmes Junior High, 1220 Drexel Drive, Davis, and continue to Community Park. Trykers, watch your email for even more information regarding our special appearance that day. We want to make this the best and biggest Tryker parade ever!

NorCal Trykers officially opened its doors on January 11, 2017. Since then, we have been fortunate to have received donations to fund over 300 trykes for kids with disabilities.
Our all volunteer team is made up of physical and occupational therapy professionals with years of experience working with children with disabilities. The team is rounded out with individuals with medical, fundraising, marketing, accounting and administrative expertise.
Applicants are evaluated by our team of professional Occupational and Physical Therapists. Deemed eligible, these same professionals determine the appropriate AMTRYKE tricycle which is purchased by NorCal Trykers, then custom-built and fitted for each child, giving them the immediate ability for mobility, community, health and independence.
NorCal Trykers relies on the generous donations of time and expertise of volunteers from around the area. Please contact Gill Williams at (530) 400-4792 if you are able to donate a few hours to help us build trykes for our quarterly giveaway events.

Joshua's mom is thrilled "that he now has the ability to participate in more physical family activities and that he has something that all the other kids have."
Aiden's mom is "excited that he'll finally be able to go outside and play."
Erik's favorite thing to do now is to ride his bike. His Dad says it is wonderful to see him now being able to accomplish something that he was not able to before.
Enjoying his new wheels in his neighborhood.
